Hey there, it’s Kevin from St. Roch Market!

I've been pouring my heart and soul into my goal of keeping this market alive, and to make it the epicenter of New Orleans’ collaborative culinary scene I believe it deserves to be. Rich with history since 1875, we're zealously continuing the legacy of dishing out a diverse palette of foods in the neutral ground of St. Roch Ave. at St. Claude.

Witness the evolution unfolding at St. Roch, where every nook and cranny is brewing with culinary artistry. As of now, here is what you can expect to enjoy at the market.

1. Fried & True: Micha Martello, original vendor in 2015 with Fete Au Fete, returns with a new menu! It’s your ticket to crunchy paradise. Get cozy with his unique crispy spicy chicken with a unique new cornmeal batter crunch that’ll have you coming back for more. Expect to see his tried and true dishes from Fete au Fete from years ago come back too.

2. Nuccio’s: Slide into a slice of classic New Orleans style Italian with his classic muffulettas made with his Olive Salad. He makes his Olive salad here with 100% olive oil. His spaghetti and hearty meatballs, and his cannoli’s are all made fresh here with his family’s recipes. It’s old school New Orleans Italian priced right in a casual environment.

3. Slow & Pho: Tung Nguyen is making a triumphant return, fusing slow-smoked BBQ with traditional Vietnamese pho in a culinary crossroad where smoke embraces soup! Tung's journey has been a key inspiration behind my commitment to St. Roch. His menu has evolved over time, significantly shaped by the diverse array of vendors that have graced St. Roch. I've had the privilege of witnessing his transformation front and center, and it's my hope to extend this opportunity to others, enabling them to hone their unique food flavors amidst the camaraderie and fellowship from the other vendors here at St. Roch.

4. CR Coffee: My own little caffeine haven. I was roasting and selling coffee to businesses in 2015 and saw St. Roch as an opportunity to sell my own creations with fresh roasted coffee directly to the public in cup and in bags of retail coffee in the market. CR Coffee is still at St. Roch and has grown to locations uptown and Metairie these days. Without CR Coffee I wouldn’t have been able to take over operations and inject St. Roch Market with life.

5. **Genevieve**: Dive nose-first into the heart of New Orleans flavors with fresh raw oysters and Creole gumbo that sings. Tina has worked in St. Roch Market as a teenager before Katrina and for various vendors and for St. Roch Market too since 2016. This is her opportunity to share her grandmother’s recipes with you.

6. Dolma: Take a voyage to the Mediterranean without leaving town. It’s a spread that’s as rich in flavor as it is in tradition. Karim brings the fresh flavors and his hot sauce brings the fire to all his classic dishes.

7. Laksa NOLA: Let’s bowl you over with a Burmese and Malaysian embrace that’s both spicy and comforting. A favorite around St. Roch Chef Lin and her husband Alex have been serving these amazing flavors since 2018. Open through the pandemic, Laksa has become a go to neighborhood staple.

8. Lin Poke and Sushi: Lin's stand is where traditional sushi meets custom made poke bowls. Whether you're a sushi purist or a poke bowl enthusiast, there's something for you. Lin is passionate about bringing a unique fusion of flavors and textures to the table. Every classic sushi roll and custom bowl is a journey to the heart of Japanese cuisine with a modern twist.

9. Roch's Reprieve: The bar’s new rebrand, coming soon, will be your haven to pause, relax, and soak in the bustling vibrance of the market over a beverage. Drawing inspiration from St. Roch, the patron saint of the wrongfully accused, this spot is a tribute to being reprieved, for a moment at least, from the daily grind. Our cocktail and wine selection will be a collaborative endeavor, thoughtfully curated to complement the culinary artistry of our market chefs. Each drink is an extension of the chefs' narratives, showcasing what they envision to be the perfect libation alongside their creations. Of course, we haven't forgotten the timeless classics. Your favorite neighborhood bar staples and cherished cocktails await, ready to provide that familiar comfort as you take a moment to escape from the world.

The market is full with a vibrant mix of flavors, traditions, and stories brewing at every corner. Each vendor here is on a journey of culinary collaboration, and a living testament to the creative spirit that makes New Orleans a global culinary icon.

Whether you're looking to catch up with friends, impress business clients, or show out-of-town guests the vibrant life and flavors of New Orleans today, St. Roch Market is the go-to spot. Every corner of our market offers a slice of the city's rich culinary scene, and the communal vibe makes it a perfect place for meaningful connections over good food and great drinks.

I invite you to help us continue to keep this magical space alive into the future, to meet the vendor’s spirits behind the flavors. Drop by anytime, explore the diverse offerings, and let New Orleans wrap around you.

Meet me at St. Roch,
